NPC Foundation Scholarships

Introduction
The National Panhellenic Conference Foundation awards scholarships each year to exceptional Panhellenic women. The general application window typically opens in early December and closes in mid-March. For 2026 the application is open now — you can apply here. The final deadline for submissions is 11:59 p.m. Eastern on March 9, 2026. Scholarship recipients are announced in mid-to-late June, and awarded funds are paid at the start of the fall term.
Eligibility overview
Individual scholarships have their own eligibility criteria (membership in an NPC organization, academic standing, leadership or service experience, residency or campus restrictions, etc.). Read each award’s requirements carefully before applying.
2026 NPC Foundation Scholarships
- Alpha Phi / Betty Mullins Jones Scholarship
- Created by the Alpha Phi Foundation to honor Betty Mullins Jones’ dedication to the National Panhellenic Conference.
- Awarded annually to a collegiate Panhellenic woman who has enhanced her fraternal community’s reputation on campus and exemplifies sisterhood, philanthropy and academic commitment.
- Amount: $1,000. Preference given to women who have served on their College Panhellenic and who have made a notable impact on sorority life.
- Elizabeth Ahlemeyer Quick / Gamma Phi Beta Scholarship
- Established in recognition of Elizabeth “Betty” Quick’s long service to NPC and Gamma Phi Beta.
- Open to a collegiate member in good standing of an NPC organization.
- Nomination by the College Panhellenic is required. The nominee must have demonstrated exceptional service to her local College Panhellenic.
- Academic requirement: minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Enrollment requirement: plans to be a full-time junior or senior (as defined by the institution) in the upcoming academic year.
- Carole Jurenko Jones Scholarship
- Funded by Alpha Omicron Pi to honor Carole Jones’ work for NPC, including her service as NPC chairman (2017–2019).
- Annual $1,000 award to a collegiate member in good standing who has held chapter or Panhellenic leadership positions.
- May alternatively be awarded to an alumna in good standing who shows strong Panhellenic spirit and who has provided outstanding service and leadership to her campus or local community.
- Mary Louise Roller Scholarship
- Named for Mary Louise Roller and funded by Alpha Omicron Pi in recognition of her 33 years on Alpha Omicron Pi’s Panhellenic Delegation.
- Amount: $1,000.
- Presented to an undergraduate woman who intends to begin graduate study the following fall and who has provided outstanding service to her local College Panhellenic during her undergraduate years.
- Each College Panhellenic may submit one nominee per year.
- Phoenix Panhellenic Association Centennial Scholarship
- Created to commemorate the Phoenix Panhellenic Association’s centennial and typically awarded annually.
- Collegiate applicants must be members in good standing at one of these campuses: Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, University of Arizona, or Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University — Prescott.
- Graduate applicants must be Arizona residents enrolled at one of the listed universities or participating in an approved graduate program.
- Sigma Kappa Courage and Conviction Scholarship
- Funded by Sigma Kappa to honor Donna Crain King’s service as NPC chairman (2015–2017).
- Annual $1,000 award to a collegiate or alumna member in good standing of a Panhellenic organization.
- Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA, show significant service or contributions to their chapter, campus or community, and exemplify notable “courage and conviction.”
- Cambridge Panhellenic Scholarship
- Available to a Panhellenic woman in good standing who belongs to a chapter of the Cambridge Panhellenic Association and who will be pursuing undergraduate studies in the 2025–26 academic year.
