Introduction
Alisa’s Angels Foundation supports students who serve their communities through a permanent endowment held at the Arizona Community Foundation (ACF). Donations to this fund enable us to offer scholarships and encouragement to graduating seniors who demonstrate a commitment to helping others. The foundation was established in memory of Alisa Wallendorf, who believed “that is what we were put on earth to do.”

Scholarship overview
- Awards: Up to eight graduating Arizona high school seniors will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
- Disbursement: $2,500 is paid in the first year. The remaining funds will be released in subsequent years provided the recipient remains in good academic standing. Scholarship dollars are restricted to tuition and books and are paid directly to the student’s school.

Who may apply
- Must be a graduating high school senior in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75.
- Scholarship may be used at any accredited college, university, community college, or approved vocational/trade school.

How to apply
- Complete the online application form.
- Submit a 750-word essay describing your community service and the impact of that work.
- Include an unofficial high school transcript through the 7th semester.
- Provide one reference as part of the application package.

Reference requirements
- References must be submitted using the online reference form.
- The recommender should be a teacher, school counselor, faith leader, or another adult who has direct knowledge of the applicant’s community service and can speak to the applicant’s involvement.
