The Cedar Falls Schools Foundation’s 2026 scholarship application is available online. The deadline to submit is March 15. Students only need to fill out one application to be considered for any of the Foundation’s scholarship awards. The application link will be posted on this page by January 15. Scholarship recipients will be announced at the Honors Convocation in May; awards are paid directly to the recipient’s college financial aid office in July.

Golden West funds scholarships to support young people from its service area as they move into higher education and future leadership roles.
Program overview
Each year we award more than 40 scholarships of $1,000 each to graduating high school seniors. Awards are distributed with one scholarship designated for each high school within the Golden West exchanges, plus a single at-large scholarship reserved for home-schooled students or for students who live in our service area but attend a high school that is not included in the program.
