Arizona REEL Milk Moments Scholarship

Are you a high school senior or a college student with a passion for dairy and a knack for video creation? If you're planning to enroll full-time at an Arizona college in the Fall 2024 semester, Arizona Milk Producers has an exciting opportunity for you! We're inviting you to participate in our "Reel" Milk Moment video contest. The challenge is simple: create a video, no longer than 30 seconds, showcasing your favorite dairy product(s) in action. This could be your ticket to winning one of three college scholarships! The aim of your video should be to illustrate how dairy plays a significant role in your daily life and enhances your day. Video Guidelines: - Narrate how dairy contributes to your lifestyle. - Highlight the advantages of dairy: its nutritional value, taste, versatility in cooking, creaminess, etc. - Feature at least one dairy product visually (milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, etc.). - Include the phrases “real milk” and/or “real dairy”. - Ensure your video is no longer than 30 seconds. How to Participate: Submit your video online by October 30, 2023. Selection of Finalists: After the contest entry period ends, a panel of judges will choose eight (8) finalists from all the video entries, based on how well they meet the video criteria. Finalists will be informed on November 8, 2023, and will each receive a NutriBullet personal blender. They will then be required to submit an application packet provided by Arizona Milk Producers, which includes: - An application form - A photo ID - A letter of recommendation - A personal narrative essay - A video concept essay Scholarship Recipients: The final three (3) scholarship recipients will be chosen based on the scores of their application packets and their original video submissions. The winners will be announced on December 11, 2023. Each winner will receive three (3) tickets to the January 1, 2023 Fiesta Bowl Game and Pre-Party, along with one (1) parking pass. Please note that winners must attend the game to receive their awards on the field. Scholarship Awards: - First Place: $8,000 - Second Place: $6,000 - Third Place: $4,000 So, if you're a dairy lover with a creative streak, grab your camera and start filming your "Reel" Milk Moment!
