Below are scholarship and grant opportunities with eligibility and award details preserved as originally provided.
Colonel Aaron Burgstein Memorial Scholarship
- Award: $1,000 each year.
- Eligible recipients: Minor dependents of Active, Guard, Reserve, veteran, or retired members of any U.S. military service branch.
- Purpose: For students enrolled in an accredited college or university.
Captain Jodi Callahan Memorial Scholarship
- Award: $3,000.
- Eligible recipients: USAF or USSF personnel serving on Active Duty, in the Guard, or in the Reserve.
- Purpose: For those working toward a master’s degree in a non-technical discipline.
Lt. Col. Romeo and Josephine Bass Ferretti Scholarship
- Award: $5,000.
- Eligible recipients: Minor dependents of enlisted Air and Space Forces personnel on Active Duty, in the Reserve, or in the Air National Guard.
- Purpose: For undergraduate study in STEM fields.
Mike & Gail Donley Spouse Scholarships
- Award: $2,500 annually.
- Eligible recipients: Spouses of Air Force or Space Force members worldwide.
- Purpose: To encourage spouses to pursue higher education.
Col. Loren J. and Mrs. Lawona R. Spencer Scholarship
- Awards: Three scholarships of $5,000 each.
- Eligible recipients: Air Force personnel (Active Duty, civilian employees, or full-time National Guard or Reserve members).
- Purpose: Graduate-level studies in management and administration to prepare candidates for senior leadership positions.
John C. and Blanche Lee Lindsay Memorial Scholarship
- Award: One $2,500 scholarship.
- Eligible recipients: A child of a member of the United States Air Force.
- Purpose: Support for pursuing a college degree.
Delta Dental Grants
- Awards: Five scholarships/grants of $2,000 each.
- Eligible recipients: Military spouses, military dependents, and service members in transition.
- Purpose: Fund advancement in oral health and wellness initiatives.
Dr. Sydell Perlmutter Gold Memorial Scholarship
- Award: Renewable $5,000 per year (maximum $20,000 over the course of study).
- Eligible recipients: Daughters of Active, Guard, or Reserve Air Force members.
- Purpose: For pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
Destin Flight Works Pilot Training Scholarship
- Award: Up to $10,000 for one AFA member annually.
- Sponsor: Funded by Vertol Systems Company, Inc.
- Covered costs: Pilot training courses, instructor fees, and aircraft rental.
- Outcome: Training leading to a private pilot’s license at Destin Flight Works in Destin, Florida.
The George and Vicki Muellner Foundation Scholarship
- Awards: Two scholarships of $5,000 each, given annually.
- Eligible recipients: Eligible college students who are members of Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings (AAS-SW).
- Application period: Applications accepted each academic year from September through November.
