Eastern Wyoming College Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Eastern Wyoming College
Eastern Wyoming College provides a variety of scholarship and activity grant opportunities, including Foundation awards, institutional scholarships, and gifts from private donors. Most of these funding options are accessed through EWC’s online scholarship application, which accepts submissions for the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.
Eligibility and required materials
- Submit an EWC Application for Admission.
- Supply an official high school transcript (or high school equivalency). A final official high school transcript that includes your graduation date must be on file before state and federal aid can be released.
- Provide official transcripts from any other colleges you have attended.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. Many scholarships use FAFSA data to evaluate financial need, so annual completion is required.
Areas of study and variable requirements
- While many scholarships are open regardless of major, some awards are restricted to students pursuing specific programs such as agriculture, art, business, criminal justice, education, health-related fields, history, nursing, psychology, welding, and similar disciplines.
- Individual scholarships have their own eligibility rules. Criteria may include minimum GPA, number of credit hours completed, high school affiliation, county of residence, membership or affiliation with particular organizations, level of enrollment, and other factors.
Minimum standards and where to learn more
- Most EWC scholarships require at least a 2.0 GPA and enrollment at half-time or greater.
- For summaries of available awards, descriptions, and specific eligibility requirements, consult the online Scholarship Application. Additional resources include the Cost & Aid Guide and the listed Scholarship Opportunities.
