NEACHMM Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by AHMP New England Chapter
The scholarship program's objective is to advance the Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) fields and provide benefits to our members. Each year, NEACHMM will grant a minimum of one $1,000 scholarship to a candidate who fulfills the eligibility requirements. Candidates are not required to meet both eligibility requirements to apply. However, those who meet both will receive a higher score than those who meet only one.
All completed applications and necessary documents must be submitted by the specified deadline. Successful applicants will be informed within a month of the application deadline, and scholarships will be disbursed within two months of the deadline.
Previous year's scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply in consecutive years. All potential applicants must provide either a copy of their registration for the upcoming semester (for current students) or an acceptance letter (for prospective students).
Eligibility Requirements
Requirement 1
Applicants eligible for the scholarship are those who are currently pursuing or planning to pursue a major in an EH&S discipline (such as biology, chemistry, environmental science/engineering, health & safety management) at an accredited institution, including universities, colleges, junior colleges, trade schools, or nursing schools.

Eligible applicants include NEACHMM members and those who have a relationship or acquaintance with a current NEACHMM member in good standing.
Priority will be given firstly to NEACHMM members in good standing and their immediate family members (children, spouses) who are pursuing an education at an accredited institution. Secondly, consideration will be given to NEACHMM members' grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or other family members attending an accredited institution. Lastly, friends or acquaintances of a current NEACHMM member in good standing who are attending an accredited institution will be considered. To be considered, the applicant must receive written sponsorship from the NEACHMM member.
