The PSTAP will provide three scholarships for the academic year. One award — the Robert T. Zaleski Memorial Scholarship — is valued at $3,000. Two additional scholarships will be awarded at $2,000 each.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be an undergraduate student enrolled full-time at a college or university located in Pennsylvania.
- Have completed at least 60 credit hours.
- Be a declared Accounting major.
- Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Selection criteria
Scholarships are competitive and awarded primarily on the basis of strong academic achievement. In selecting recipients, the committee may also take into account leadership potential, involvement in extracurricular activities, and demonstrated financial need.
Award timing and use of funds
Awards are issued in December and are intended to help defray educational costs and related expenses. Scholarship checks will be made payable jointly to the student and the student’s college or university. Funds may be applied toward tuition, housing, textbooks, and other education-related expenses.
