Intro
The Anchor Scholarship Foundation administers a number of donor-supported awards that carry additional, specific eligibility conditions. Some are restricted by field of study (for example, STEM), others by geographic residence or relationship to a particular ship or association. Below are the administered scholarships, with their main criteria, award amounts, and funding sources.

General eligibility note
All recipients must satisfy the Anchor Scholarship Foundation’s application requirements.

T. NASH BROADDUS DECO SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: Two scholarships each year, up to $6,000 per recipient.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be a child dependent of an active-duty, enlisted U.S. Navy Surface Forces sailor.
- Funding and purpose: Entirely funded by the T. Nash & Gloria M. Broaddus Foundation in memory of Thomas Nash Broaddus and his U.S. Navy service during WWII and the Korean Conflict.

ARLEIGH BURKE ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $3,000 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be a dependent (child or spouse) of a current or former USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) sailor, officer or enlisted. The sponsor must be an active member of the Arleigh Burke Association.
- Funding: Fully funded by the Arleigh Burke Association.

ARLEIGH BURKE TRUST SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $3,000 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be a dependent (child or spouse) of a current or former USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51) sailor, officer or enlisted.
- Funding: Entirely provided by the Arleigh Burke Trust.

RADM LILLIAN FISHBURNE LEIDOS STEM SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $6,000 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be pursuing a degree in a STEM field.
- Funding: Fully supported by Leidos.

SUMITOMO DRIVE TECHNOLOGIES ENGINEERING SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: Two scholarships of $3,375 each.
- Eligibility: Applicants must reside in the Hampton Roads area.
- Funding: Entirely funded by Sumitomo Drive Technologies.

RADM JAMES G. PROUT III MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $5,000 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be from the San Diego region.
- Additional requirement: The recipient or a family member must be able to attend the scholarship presentation in August.
- Funding and purpose: Fully funded by the Surface Navy Association—San Diego chapter in memory of RADM James G. Prout III.

ROLLS‑ROYCE STEM SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $4,500 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be pursuing a STEM degree.
- Funding: Fully supported by Rolls‑Royce Marine North America Inc.

SOCIETY OF SPONSORS OF THE U.S. NAVY SCHOLARSHIP
- Award: $3,600 annually.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be the spouse of a U.S. Surface Forces sailor (active duty, retired, or honorably discharged), officer or enlisted.
- Funding: Entirely funded by the United States Society of Sponsors of the U.S. Navy.
