Barowsky Scholars
Scholarship Sponsored by The Philanthropic Initiative
Overview
The Barowsky Scholars program awards renewable scholarships to Maine students who aim to develop strong listening, facilitation, civic discourse, and negotiation abilities — skills for building trust and bridging divides among people with differing perspectives. Candidates should be high school graduates planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college. The award is funded by the Andrew P. Barowsky Foundation and managed by The Philanthropic Initiative (TPI).
