To encourage the next generation of advocates, our firm offers a scholarship to students preparing to enter the legal profession.
Scholarship overview
The Lawyers of Tomorrow Scholarship awards $1,000 each semester to a law student who demonstrates promise and commitment to a career in law. By reducing financial barriers, we aim to help more students complete their training and to strengthen the pool of lawyers available to serve the public.
How to apply
Eligible applicants may complete the application form available on this page.
Important deadline
The application deadline for the Fall 2026 award is June 22, 2026. We plan to announce the selected recipient within one month after the deadline.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Be currently enrolled in, or have received admission to, an accredited law school.
- Have earned a college GPA of 3.2 or higher.
Documentation required
When submitting the application, please include proof of law school enrollment or acceptance. Acceptable documents include:
- An official acceptance letter from a law school,
- A law school transcript, or
- An official class schedule.
Applicants must also provide a recent photo and grant permission for the firm to publish their name, photo, and essay on our website or other promotional materials.
Essay requirement
In addition to the documents above, applicants must submit a single essay no longer than 500 words responding to both prompts:
1. Why do you want to pursue a career in law?
2. What objectives do you hope to achieve during your legal career?
How essays are evaluated
Submissions will be judged on the following factors:
- Clarity in describing career goals and plans within the legal field.
- Evidence of commitment to practicing law.
- Organization and readability of the essay.
Timeline
All applications will be reviewed after the submission deadline. The winner will be notified and publicly announced within approximately one month following the deadline.
