Introduction
Wilshire Quinn Capital believes music shapes lives and leaves lasting impressions. To help emerging musicians continue their creative education, we created the Wilshire Quinn Musical Arts Scholarship. One recipient will receive a $10,000 award. Candidates should demonstrate musical talent, commitment, passion, and financial need.
Award
- One $10,000 scholarship will be granted for 2026.
- Award funds are restricted to tuition and will be sent directly to the recipient’s educational institution.
Who we welcome
We support musicians across styles and instruments — from classical violinists to electric guitarists to operatic singers in the tradition of Pavarotti. We are looking for applicants who combine artistic ability, dedication, and demonstrated financial need.

How to apply — required materials
Your submission must include both items below.
1) Performance video (YouTube or similar link)
- Must be a performance recorded specifically for the Wilshire Quinn Musical Arts Scholarship; previously recorded recitals, competition footage, or other archival clips are not acceptable.
- Video should be approximately 3 minutes in length.
- Begin with a short spoken introduction stating your name, college of attendance (or planned college if you are a high school applicant), and your music major/minor.
- Choose repertoire that reflects your artistic identity and showcases your abilities.
- No studio-style music videos or audio enhancements: do not use mixing, dubbing, auto-tune, or other post-production vocal/instrumental effects. We want an authentic, unaltered performance.
2) Personal statement (PDF, Word, or similar)
- Maximum length: 450 words.
- Explain how music has influenced your life: describe your musical journey, notable experiences, obstacles you’ve overcome, and your aspirations in the musical arts.
- Include a header in the top-left corner with your full name, instrument, college of attendance (or planned college if in high school), and music major/minor.
- High school applicants: indicate the college you plan to attend and the semester or quarter you will begin.
- Save the file using this format: FirstName MiddleInitial. LastName, Instrument. Examples: “Maria A. Smith, Trumpet” or “David M. Jones, Vocals”.

Complete the entry form (located below) and paste your performance video link and upload your personal statement in the designated fields.
Selection and award disbursement
The winner will be chosen by Wilshire Quinn Capital based on artistic merit, dedication, and financial need. The scholarship payment will be issued directly to the recipient’s educational institution for tuition use only.
